Britney Spears Might NEVER Perform Again, Manager Warns

Britney Spears’ old manager was a creep, and she recently filed for yet another restraining order against him.

Her current manager has weighed in on her recent drama, and it sounds like he has her best interests at heart.

Her interests, but not those of fans — because he warns that it may be for the best if she never performs again.

TMZ spoke to Larry Rudolph, who is not part of her conservatorship but is nonetheless very involved in her business.

“As the person who guides her career,” Larry begins.

He then qualifies that he is speaking “based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told.”

Larry then notes that he has only been kept informed “on a need-to-know basis.”

It’s good that he is upfront about what he does and does not know.

“From what I have gathered,” Larry says. “It’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency.”

Britney famously pulled out of the Domination residency early this year, referring to her father’s health crisis.

Larry continues: “not in the near future.”

“And,” he admits. “Possibly never again.”

Needing to take a hiatus is one thing. Never taking the stage again is very different.

Larry reveals that they were about 2/3 of the way through rehearsing the show when Britney had to back out.

“It was the perfect storm,” Larry characterizes.

“We had to pull her show,” he says.

Larry explains that they had to cancel the planned residency “because her meds stopped working.”

“And,” he continues. “She was distraught over her dad’s illness.”

Larry does not sound optimistic about Britney’s enthusiasm for new performance plans at the moment.

“Last summer, when she wanted to tour,” Larry recalls. “She called me every day.”

“She was excited,” he explains.

“She hasn’t called me in months,” Larry reveals. “Crickets.”

“She clearly doesn’t want to perform now,” he assesses.

Notably, she is not only consumed with her father’s health and her own mental well-being, but likely aware that she’ll need permission to perform.

Larry is absolutely unwilling to push for anything to happen before Britney is prepared.

“I don’t want her to work again ’till she’s ready,” Larry asserts.

He says that he wants her onboard “physically, mentally, and passionately.”

“If that time never comes again,” Larry says. “It will never come again.”

“I have no desire or ability to make her work again,” Larry continues.

Larry explains that, as her manager, “I am only here for her when she wants to work.”

“And, if she ever does want to work again,” Larry adds. “I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.”

Ultimately, only Britney should get to decide where her life leads her.

We of course wish her the very best, and hope that her mental and emotional wellbeing improve soon if they have not already.

But anyone who is truly her fan is okay if she never performs again — so long as she is safe and happy.
